Back in January of 2023 we were renting an apartment in a small town in Ontario on the border of the USA and about an hour from the Quebec border. We knew we didn’t want to spend another summer in an apartment, so we decided to fly the coop.
We gave our notice. We’d have to be out by May 1. Where were we going to go? What were we going to do?
